HOW ASTROLOGY WORKS:
The 12 Signs
At the core of Astrology are the 12
signs of the Zodiac. The 12 signs
can be divided into four elements:
Earth, Air, Water, and Fire.
•Earth signs are Capricorn, Virgo, and Taurus
•Air signs are Aquarius, Gemini, and Libra
•Water signs are Pisces, Cancer, and Scorpio
•Fire signs are Aries, Leo, and Sagittarius

Two signs of the same element are
considered a perfect love match.
Each element has a complementary element.
Earth and Water complement each other and
Fire and Air complement each other.
Signs of elements that are
complementary make a good match
Signs opposite each other
on the chart have a tendency to attract.
Astrology is very logical.
A flame needs oxygen to sustain itself,
and earth needs water to produce crops.
This logic carries over to the personalities
of individual signs:
